Workshop | Rethinking Interdisciplinarity | NIT Silchar | 18-19 May 2016

Dear all,
With great excitement, we are organizing an interdisciplinary workshop on the interface of Natural & Human Sciences at the National Institute of Technology, Silchar (Assam) during 18-19 May, 2016. The workshop is titled ''Rethinking Interdisciplinarity: Bridging the Rift''.
The workshop aims to question the premise upon which the divorce between the Natural Sciences & the Humanities thrives. It intends to probe into issues of subjectivity and social constructivism in the Sciences (cf. Poincare), and in light of the separatist worldview in the realm of pedagogy, reflects on the plausibility of an integrationist model instead.
We invite abstracts from prospective presenters by 28 Mar 2016, and expression of interest from non-presenting participants by 8 May 2016. Details about the workshop can be found here: <https://goo.gl/6UBBZJ>. Also, find attached the flyer for the workshop. We'll appreciate if you could display it at your work place.
Please share this call with relevant individuals, organizations, and networks.
Regards,
