SWACH MELA @ Hyderabad

Do we know that Hyderabad Municipality handles over 4000 metric tons of solid waste every day?

Do we know that most of it is getting dumped and not processed?

Do we realise that each and every one of us is contributing to this huge amount of garbage?

Do we know that quite a significant amount of this can be avoided or reused or recycled?

Do we realise that we have a major role in lessening the burden and hence making lives of our future generations be better?

Please make time from busy schedule on January 18 to visit SWACH MELA at Kowtha Kamakoti Kalyana Nilayam, Padmaraonagar, Secunderanad between 10 AM and 4 PM to understand what you and I can do to ease this burden?

Let us first become AWARE, then PARTICIPATE in the campaign of
REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE. Please know that much of the dry waste like paper, plastic, glass, electronic waste will all be usefully recycled.

If you have segregated paper, plastic, glass and electronic waste please bring them along to DONATE at the venue. You may also bring old tube light bulbs, CFL bulbs, old batteries - they are very difficult to dispose - organization that do scientific waste disposal of these items are participating.

Also come and learn about composting solutions from your kitchen waste, rain water harvesting, water conservation, efficient power solutions, energy conservation solutions and much more.
